Ciera Teets is an associate attorney with various experience working in both Civil, Criminal, and Dependency litigation. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ciera moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to pursue a career in law. Thereafter, Ciera attended Loyola Law School, graduating with her Juris Doctorate and the distinction of Loyola Law School’s Outstanding Clinical Student Award for her two years of work defending juvenile delinquency clients in Loyola’s Juvenile Justice Clinic.

Prior to joining AMC Law, Ciera worked for a non-profit which partnered with the County of Los Angeles to provide defense representation to parents in civil juvenile dependency proceedings throughout Los Angeles County. Ciera has experience from the inception of litigation with preparing for trial and post-judgment motions, including bringing and defended dispositive motions, resolving disputes through early settlement negotiations, law and motion practice, and taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions.

Outside of practicing law, Ciera spends her time gardening, trying new recipes from the NYT, and cheering for her favorite sports team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
