Lisa is a seasoned civil litigator with over 20 years of experience with both first and second chair trial experience who has prevailed in multiple State court and Appellate Court cases.  Lisa has spent the majority of her career the area of Insurance Defense and Business Litigation representing a wide variety of clients, including Corporations, Small businesses, and Individuals in a variety of practice areas.

Lisa has obtained multiple favorable trial verdicts. She has gained extensive experience litigating cases from inception, through verdict, including high exposure personal injury , negligence, premises liability, professional liability, products liability, trade secret, construction, and employment cases on behalf of corporations, small businesses, general contractors and subcontractors and individuals.  Additionally, Lisa has experience with Appeals in the areas of First Amendment and Professional Liability- resulting in a published Appellate opinion.  Lisa’s practice also includes the representation of employers in discrimination claims.

Lisa is a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and a member of various legal and professional associations.

Lisa is a 3rd generation Native Californian. In her free time, Lisa enjoys Music, Movies, and reading and spending time with friends and family.

  • Solo chaired jury trial resulting in a unanimous six figure verdict- Los Angeles Superior Court, Case No.: EC060095.
  • Obtained summary judgment in a legal malpractice/corporate action involving the issue of whether an attorney owes a duty to the individual members of an LLC, and assisted with the Appellate filing that resulted in a published opinion; Sprengel v. Zbylut, 40 Cal.App.5th 1028 (Cal. Ct. App. 2019).
  • Co-Authored Respondent’s Brief before the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, resulting in opinion (Unpublished) filed February 27, 2018, Jeff Nelson v. John Does, Court of Appeal Case No.: B283743.
