Robert S. Parada is a longtime litigation attorney who has prevailed in trial and appellate court throughout California. Robert has a diverse legal background in civil and probate litigation, including issues relating to financial elder abuse claims and business disputes. Having spent 16 years developing a well-rounded legal education and skill set, Robert brings this professional knowledge to representing surety companies as a member of the Surety, Fidelity & Specialty Coverages Group of Anderson McPharlin & Conners LLP (“AMC”).
Robert is always eager to contribute his ability and expertise for the benefit of his colleagues and, more importantly, his clients. As a practicing attorney, Robert has honed his abilities in critical areas such as client relationship management, attorney-client conferences, legal research and the drafting of motions and legal memoranda. With his legal mindset and practiced skill, Robert always strives to secure fair legal outcomes.
Driven at an early age by a desire to help those in need, Robert’s passion for the legal profession began while attending the University of Southern California (“USC”) as an undergraduate. IT was during his undergraduate years that Robert founded and served as president and a member of USC’s Latino Pre-Law Society from 2003 to 2005, further emphasizing his commitment to legal excellence and diversity. Robert graduated with honors from USC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language with double minors in Natural Science, and Communication in 2005.
Robert then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California where he graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2009. As a law student, Robert ranked in the top 30% of his class for the 2007-2008 academic year, while serving as 3rd Year representative in student government.
Prior to joining AMC, Robert worked in the areas of trust and estate litigation, estate planning, trust administration, probate administration and litigation, and conservatorships and guardianships. Robert also handled handle business and real estate litigation and business formation and counseling.
Building trust within the legal community and developing alliances with public-sector officials have been essential aspects of Robert’s professional journey, as indicated by his membership in esteemed legal organizations, including but not limited to the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Court judgment after bench trial in favor of seller establishing breaches of contracts by purchasers for sale of seller’s interest in business. Monetary judgment entered against Defendant buyers, including holding that all other Defendants were either alter egos of each other or engaged in a single enterprise such that said Defendants were jointly and severally liable to seller for court judgment. Represented seller in appeal of trial matter by Defendants with California Court of Appeals. Court judgment was affirmed.
Summary judgment in favor of sole proprietorship in connection with breach of promissory note, proving that sole proprietorship was neither alter ego or successor-in-interest to borrower.
Judgment after evidentiary hearing in favor of adult child of decedent in probate estate proceeding, wherein paternity of adult child confirmed, and decedent’s sibling removed as personal representative of probate estate in favor of adult child.
Judgment after bench trial in favor of adult child of decedent, on the grounds that the subsequent amendments to the decedent’s declaration of trust were invalid, thereby reaffirming the adult child’s rights as a trust beneficiary.
